13th Summer Go Camp

Summer Go Camp is one of the biggest Go events in Europe. It has quite a different schedule and attractions then EGC. SGC is ment mostly for families with children and students. Your strength is not important. We have teachers for dan players and for beginners, there are also lessons only for children and of course go-problems solving contest. Some of lessons are in English other in Polish. For some lessons - like solving go problems - knoweledge of any language is not important.
You may find here lake, horses, beautiful countryside and lot of places for sight seeing. You may sleep in your tent, military tents, or in a cottage. The camp provides - kitchen (with fireplace), big barn rebuild as a meeting place (10 tables for 10-16 people) and dancing room, clean toilets, showers, TV, audio and karaoke hardware, parking, stables. SGC is not only about Go. It is 15 days of fun, other board games and sports activities. Go is about 1/3 of SGC events. Other boards games, and sports tournaments are second 1/3. Last part is a free time for you, witch you may chose to use in many ways. For example laying at the lake, riding horses, playing go or other broad games, visiting shooting range, or walking in a forest and looking for mushrooms.
This year we are more then ever prepared for visitors from other countries. Every information will be printed in Polish and English, also many lessons (for strong players) are going to be in English. If you speak German you also will find lot of people to speak with as the owner of the camp and many go players.
